Thursday Evening Chilton/Harwell Joint Practices

The scheduled Thursday evening Chilton/Harwell joint practices are suspended, due to lack of support, for the months of July and August. We hope to resume in September. We can still practise by arrangement on Thursdays if any visitors wish to come to Chilton. Please contact Kate Crennell, Chilton Secretary or telephone (01235) 834357.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday 15th March.

Six-Bell Striking Competition

The Wallingford band who were winners in the Branch 6-bell striking competition held before the AGM on 15th March: Chris Tuckett (3), Stuart Gibson (4), Jim Diserens (5), Helen Diserens (2), Nuala Clements (6), Sally Worsley (1).

The competition was judged by Hilarie Rogers and Kay Tuckwell who placed Blewbury in second place and Abingdon in third. Wallingford will now go forward to represent the Branch at the Guild 6-bell striking competition.
